- Biography Resource Center - Database of biographies from Gale Group sources. Also includes full-text articles from hundreds of periodicals.
- History Resource Center: US - Primary documents, reference articles, and full-text journals about U.S. history from pre-Colonial times to the present.
- Science Resource Center - Science journal & magazine articles, experiments, pictures & biographies.
- Culturegrams - Information about countries and states. Includes photos, recipes, & famous people
- Maps101+ - Maps, lesson plans, games & quizzes
- Career Cruising - Explore careers and colleges. Includes an interest survey
- SoundzAbound - A collection of copyright-free music and sound effects
- TeachingBooks.net - Author & book information, videos, audio files, lists of recommended books
- EBSCO* - Provides full text for over 780 periodicals. Includes NoveList, a database of book recommendations for all ages.
- InfoTrac* - Includes Health Reference Center Academic, Business & Company Resource Center, and Junior Edition K-12, a periodical database designed for middle school students including full text magazines, newspapers and reference books.
*NOVEL is a statewide virtual library provided free to the public by the NY State Library. It is currently a pilot project funded through a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant to the NY State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
- FindArticles - Free database of articles from over 300 online magazines and journals from 1998 to the present.
- MagPortal - Free database of nearly 200 magazines and publications, mostly 1999 or 2000 to the present.
