Medley Relay Challenge Meet Information

 

By April 11th coaches should have sent in their declaration of entry with payment or proof of pending payment. The fee structure is as follows:

Each school may enter 2 relays per event.

 

The meet will be scored 10-8-6-4-2-1 for the DMR, 800 SMR, and 1600 SMR. The school with the highest number of points will receive a Relay Challenge plaque. In the event of a tie, the school with the fastest cumulative time will be declared the winner. In each relay, medals will be awarded to the top 6 schools. Your "B" team is eligible for awards, but will not be included in the team score.

 

By Wednesday, April 18 you should have emailed your roster to jderocco@niskyschools.org.

 

On meet day, you will make your entries by filling out 4x6 index cards. Be sure to denote your "A" and "B" teams clearly on the entry. You may include up to 6 names on your entry card. Please be as accurate as possible on your seed times.

 

The 800 SMR (100-100-200-400) will have the first 3 legs in lanes. The 400 meter runner will cut in. The 1600 SMR (200-200-400-800) for varsity and frosh/soph will run in lanes for the first 2 legs. The 400 meter runner will cut in. The DMR (1200-400-800-1600) will have a waterfall start.
