English Department
The English Department offers students a variety of experiences that include frequent practice in writing, speaking, study of selected books, collateral reading expectations and close attention to the workings of language. Students take the Comprehensive Regents Exam in English at the conclusion of 11th grade. In their senior year, students may choose from a variety of half-year courses or AP and Syracuse University Project Advance(SUPA) courses.
