FNR’s Annual Garage Sale Needs Your Donations!

Please don’t throw out those toys your kids no longer play with or those holiday decorations you don’t use anymore. Don’t even throw out that old snow blower that you replaced this year! Friends of Niskayuna Rowing (FNR) depends on donations of all sorts of things from your attics, garages, basements, closets, sheds, etc. for our annual Garage Sale.

This year’s sale is scheduled for Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Old Café in the high school from 8am to 2pm.

Donations will be accepted from 3pm until 7pm on Friday, the 16th.

Please review this list of desired items for the sale (as well as items that should not be brought to the sale). If you’re not sure whether we can take something, contact Kathy Lukoski and/or Francesca Marine.

All donations are tax deductible and we’ll happily supply you with a form to use for your taxes. You can hang on to this stuff for a few more months and then think about how good it’ll feel to clear that pile out come March! Your Spring cleaning will be almost done!

Coaching Certifications Earned

Congratulations to Coaches David Bender, David Buckner and Sarah Rhoades for earning theirr US Rowing Level 1 certification! During the early winter these coaches participated in US Rowing National Conference and Joy of Sculling regional conference to hone their coaching skills and improve our program. Coach Sabrina Skotarszak holds US Rowing Level 2 certification.
