Niskayuna Rowing's New Program Director
Niskayuna Rowing is happy to announce that Molly Grygiel will serve as our next Program Director!
Molly has already identified a set of volunteer opportunities to improve the boathouse. Niskayuna Rowing member families are asked to help with the following projects:
These projects have received an anonymous donation of $500 from a generous supporter of Niskayuna Rower!
- Series of hooks on the side of the boathouse for backpacks
- Rebuild the Modified Quad boat racks - the current rack is too low to the ground and very difficult for young rowers to move shells in and out
- Apply traction tape to the ramp to prevent slipping under wet conditions
- Repaint oars white and apply letter "N" with tape
- Build simple step-up boxes to enable the rowers to reach the top racks on the trailer and in the boathouse
Thank you very much for your support and helping to jump-start these boathouse improvement projects!
