I Know What You Did Last Summer is a thrilling story about three teenagers who had a hit and run with their car. Only they're the one who made the crime.
Barry, Ray,Helen,and Laurie are normal teenagers until one night they became criminals. At that time Barry was 18, Ray was 17, Helen was 17, and Laurie was 17. If Barry went back and went to jail he would be sentenced as an adult and was afraid to go back to face the police. Nobody would volunteer to go back, even though they would be sentenced to minor punishment. They voted and decided to run away. They wrecked the car and threw away the cloths they were wearing that night. The year anniversary came around and Laurie had gotten a letter with a picture of the small boy. Then day by day they all had gotten a newspaper clippings except Barry.
One night, after football he got a phone call. One of his roommates said it was from a girl. When he picked up the other line the voice said to meet him at the field where the fire works were being held. He sat there and waited. As a fire cracker went off so did a gun. While in the hospital, when he was conscious he was asked questions about being shot. He was asked about who had called him and who had shot him. He didn't have the answer to who had shot him but he did have an answer to who had called him to make him go to the field. He said it was Helen that had called him.
I wish I could tell you more but that would only ruin the story! I really liked this book and would recommend this to everyone even if you don't like to read.
