I read the book The Hobbit . It is a very good book. It is full of adventure and suspense, for example, when Bilbo (the Hobbit) has to save everyone in his little crew of dwarfs.
This story is about Hobbit who eats a lot and has a very nice home. He always cleans it. One day, his old friend comes over with a bunch of dwarfs. They eat so much that poor Bilbo does not have another ounce of food in his house. After Bilbo finishes his dishes and cleans up the house he falls asleep. When he wakes up the dwarfs tell him that he is going to find a lost kings gold. In other words they were going on an adventure. Now, Hobbits do not go on adventures. But, Bilbo was tricked into going anyway.
On this adventure they met trolls, goblins, elves, and a dragon. They meet many more ,but I don't want to give away anything. They climb mountains, many of the accidents that they have, poor Bilbo has to save the Dwarfs. Sometimes they have no food, this is bad for Bilbo because Bilbo loves to eat.
This book takes place in the older days. I would recomend this book to someone who likes to read, because it is for a higher reading level of people. It has harder words to read, but if you want to read it and you know that it is to hard for you than read it with your whole family. It is a great book for your whole family to read together. It is a great book if you like adventure stories, that keep you guessing.

The Hobbit was an excellent book. It was very exciting . This story is a fiction book, and it takes place under ground years ago. The Hobbit was about young Hobbit named Bilbo, who lived in a very well to do Hobbit hole, which is a house in the ground. Everyone in the town knew Bilbos family from years back. One day while Bilbo was having tea time, a wizard stopped by his house. Bilbo had herd of Gandalfs (the wizard) adventures. Gandalf wanted Bilbo to come with him on his next adventure.Bilbo had refused . When Gandalf had some of his elf friends stop by, Bilbo had decided to go with them.
This was Bilbo's first adventure Bilbo was the kind-of Hobbit that always laid around and ate all day. On the adventure Bilbo wasn't aloud to bring a lot of luggage, and no food. When Bilbo started into his first cave Gandalf told Bilbo that their large giants and other weird creatures.
Some of my favorite main events were, when Bilbo had getting lost from his friends and met a creature in the water. This creature loved riddles. The creature had a special necklace that Bilbo had found on the ground. Bilbo didn't know how to get out of the cave to find his friends. So the creature told Bilbo that if he could answer all his riddles than the creature would tell Bilbo how to get out of the cave. Bilbo answered all the riddles but when they were almost out of the cave the creature left Bilbo near all the giants. Bilbo used the necklace to secretly get by the giants. Bilbo found his friends and went on many more adventures.
I would recommend this to any one that likes to read and that likes adventures. The Hobbit was a great book and I think you should read it!

The Hobbit was an exciting book by J.R.R. Tolkien. This book was full of adventure and suspense. This book was about a lonely Hobbit named Bilbo, who lived in a hole in the ground. Bilbo always kept his home clean and everything was always kept in place. Bilbo also hated adventures, just like any other Hobbit. Bilbo never even thought about going on an adventure, until one day when an old friend named Gandalf came to his house.
Bilbo and Gandalf started talking and Bilbo invited Ganalf to come to his house for tea the next day. Bilbo made lots of different things to eat, but when tea time came, Gandalf didn't show up. Finally, after waiting for a while, someone knocked on the door. When Bilbo opened the door, two small dwarves walked in. They introduced themselves and sat down. Bilbo didn't Know what to do. He just fed them the meal that he had prepared for Gandalf. A couple of minutes later, more dwarves came in. They ate with the other two. Finally, after nine more dwarves had come to Bilbo's house, Gandalf came. He explained to Bilbo, who was very confused about this situation, that he and the dwarves were going on an adventure, and they wanted Bilbo to go with them.
Of coarse, Bilbo did not want to go but somehow the dwarves dragged him into going too. Their mission was to fight the evil dragon, who killed many people and took their money and gold. The dragon had a very precious jewel that belonged to the head dwarves' ancestors. They were going to get it back. They left early the next morning after they had breakfast. It was a long journey, but on the way, they stopped at some friends houses, and stayed for a couple of days.
In the book, there was a lot of action. I liked when Bilbo and the Dwarves got lost in the forest and had to fight big huge spiders. The spiders were very mean and had planned on eating the dwarves, until Bilbo thought of one of his great ideas. Another part that I liked was when Bilbo got lost and couldn't find the dwarves. While he was wandering in the caves, looking for them, he stepped in something wet. He found out that it was a lake. In that lake, there was a slimy creature that roamed around on a boat and ate fish. Finally, Bilbo came up with a very interesting idea of defeating the evil monster.
If you like to read and if you like adventure, you should read The Hobbit . I highly recommend this book and if I ever get the chance to read it again, I definitely would. This is a great classic for people who love to read.
