A great book I read this year was The Great Train Robbery . This book is really hard to read but it is areally good story. The book was about a man named Edward Pierce who is very smart but he also has a criminal type of a mind. The Great Train Robbery is set between the years of 1855-1856. The English Army is fighting over in Europe, and to pay for the Army's expenses a shipment of gold is being taken across England by train, where it will sent across the Channel by boat. Pierce gets the desire to steal the gold from the train an almost impossible task ! Pierce's gang members are the light fingered Ager, the sinister Barlow, the beautiful Miriam, and the master cat burglar "Clean" Wiley Williams . Who Pierce had helped break out of prison. Pierce needs 4 keys to access the safe where the gold is kept. One of the keys is kept around the neck of the vice president of the bank. Anther is kept in the house of the bank's president. The last two are kept in the main office of the railroad. Pierce cleverly obtains the keys. Pierce then puts the plan into motion. As Pierce and Ager board the train the race against time begins. This Will the Gang succeed, well you'll have to find out for yourself, "neaner neaner neaner!"
