My favorite book I read in Mrs. LaRow's class is The Fire Game.
It is about a group of teenagers in a small town. They are looking for some exciment.
During the story a large chain of events occur. Their friend Gabe moved from
Soccer City. It turns out Gabe is into lighting fires. In the story they burn down a broken old caretakers house. Then Gabe's car is burnt in the park's parking
lot. Then Gabe thinks it is Max that burnt the car because Gabe was ridiculing
him when they burnt down the caretakers house. Gabe and Andrea were on a date when
his car was lit on fire. Then Jill and Andrea receive a note saying, "Go to the abandoned
house on Fear Street." Nick and Max received the same letter. When they all went
to the house it was on fire. The note was in blue ink off a computer. Andrea was
the only one with a blue ink cartridge. So everyone thought it was Andrea. Her father had
bought the computer for her so she could improve her school work. There is a big
get together at Andrea house to get to the bottom of the fire at the aboanond house
on Fear Street. There is a big argument and everyone leaves with a chip on their shoulder. From
that point on the book gets very intreging. So, in conclusion, I think you should
read this book today. If you are a R.L. Stine reader and appreciate mysteries then you will enjoy this book greatly.
