And All Between
is one of the weirdest books I have ever read. It was also one of my favorite.
And All Between
takes you to the mystical world of fantasy. This book is based of the life of and
eight year old child. Her name is Teera, and she lives below the ground in a place
called Erda. Erda is made up of hand dug tunnels. Here what is known as the Erdlings
eat only root, for that is all that if left.
Long ago an orchard used to live above the Erdlings it provided them with all their
needs. But since then the orchard has died, leaving the Erdlings to face starvation.
Teera is and only child, who owns a rabbit named Haba. One day Teera's father Herd
tells her the council finds her no longer and exception. And her beloved pet
must be killed for food. Teera can not bear to think that Haba would be injured
by her own people. So in love and concern for her pet she runs. Leaving her family and
possessions behind. She wanders the abandoned Erdling tunnels for days until she
sees light coming from a hole. Climbing through, Teera finds herself on the forest
floor. But known in the book to be Green sky. Here Teera is found by two Ol zhaan who believed
her to be a fallen. (A Kindar baby that had fallen to the forest floor and survived
). The Kindar are people that live in Green Sky in peace and Harmony. They believed
the Erdlings to be evil creatures over come with emotion. So believing she was a
fallen, they brought her to the home of Raamo. One of the Ol zhaan that found her.
In this book you will learn about all the adventures Teera has. And how she has
to cope with them. I would recommend this book to you if you like fantasies. Or
if you just want to break away from the same old stories. I think you will really
enjoy this book because it is really different. So pick up a copy and find out for yourself.
