An Enemy Among Them
was an exciting romance novel filled with love and adventure. This was an exciting
and adventure because it's back in the American Revolution. Christian is a German
solder who had been shipped to America to fight in the revolution. By accident was
picked up when he was injured he was brought to the hospital for the rebels. When he
was there he was torches by the rebels in the hospital. One of those rebels was a
brother of the girl he fell in love with Margaret. She decided she wanted to take
the wounded solder home with him and have her brother released from the hospital. The secret
is that when John (Margaret's brother) had got shot and wounded Christian shot John.
The thing is if mother would have found out that Christian had shot John she would
of banned him from the house. So, Christian decided to keep this a secret until one night
when he had to tell John. He was going to die so he thought he might tell who shot
him. When he told him John said that he knew who had shot him! Margaret started to
fall in love with him.
At first, she really was them only one who liked Christian. But then everyone
was really starting to like him except mother of course. She all ways was so picky
about him because he was from Germany. She was very predictable in this story. She
always had a cons about Christian. She really didn't want to bring him home. But in some
way Margaret got her to bring him home. Then John died and mother blames it all on
of course none other than Christian. So then Christian leaves a note on fathers work
bench that he is going back to Germany . Then, well I think I told you too much. Go to
your local library and read this book. If I would read a book in near future and
I were you I would read this book.
