If you enjoy to read and are in the mood to read a mystery,
A Caribbean Mystery,
is the book for you. This book is filled with murders, secrets, and confusion, but
it all comes together at the end.
It takes place on the island of Honorae. Miss Marple is the main character. Her
friend, Major Palgrave, dies right when they get to the island by a mysterious cause.
Before Major Palgrave died he asked Miss Marple if she wanted to see a picture of
a murderer. Miss Marple was confused. She doesn't know why he had a picture of a murderer.
Now, Mrs. Marple is determined to find the murderer. After the Major dies, Miss
Marple meets Mr. Rafiel, Molly and Tim, Lucky and Greg, Victoria, and other married couples. One quiet night, Miss Marple hears a scream on the beach. It is Victoria,
the island girl. She has been stabbed several times with a big cooking knife. Soon
after Miss Marple finds Victoria has been killed. Now Miss Marple thinks there is
a murderer on the island. Tim, Molly's husband is the chef at the hotel restaurant
and he saw Molly going outside with a knife from the kitchen. Miss Marple finds
out that Molly is mentally unstable, and that Lucky killed Greg's first wife out
of jealousy.
Who is the murderer? Will Miss Marple find out before the killer strikes again?
I really liked this book because it is like you are trying to find who the murderer
is because it gave you little clues about each character, like Lucky killed her husband's
first wife, and that Molly was crazy. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time. If you read this book you won't regret it!
This book is for people that enjoy to read and for any age group.
