A great book that I read this year was The Voice on the Radio. Many know it as a sequel to The Face on the Milk Carton or Whatever Happened to Janie. Although it was not like the books before, it had many interesting points to it.for example when Janie finds out what Reeve has been doing to her and her family behind her back.
This book was about Janie Johnson finding out that the story of her kidnaping was being told to all of Boston. All of this happened when Reeve, Janieís boyfriend, got a part time job as a broadcaster for his collage radio station. When Reeve couldnít think of anything to talk about on the radio, he told about Janieís kidnaping. He then had an audience waiting to hear more. He just couldnít stop telling about Janie. Soon people referred to his stories as a "Janie". You can just imagine what Janie was thinking when she was in Boston and heard his broadcast. She was furious!!
I would recommend this book to someone who likes stories that have a lot to do with betrayal and sadness. Before you read this book, I would read the books that came before this one so you can understand the characters better. Donít worry if the beginning of the book starts out boring, if you stick with it you wonít regret it, I promise!
