This book I read a book called Taking Terri Mueller. This book is by Norma Fox Mazer.
This book is about a thirteen year old girl, named Terri, who has lived with her father for as long as she can remember. Her father told Terri that her mother had died in a car accident when she was three. Terri does not remember any of this but believes her father. When Terriís strange Aunt comes to visit her and her father, Terri becomes suspicious. Terri wants to find out more about her mother and that is when she learns the terrible truth.
When Terriís father tells her his deepest and darkest secret, Terri canít believe it, and she suddenly decides that she has to find her mother. There are several characters in this book, one of them is Terri. Also there is Terriís father, Richard Mueller. He has done something to both Terri and her mother. Also, Terriís fatherís new girlfriend, Nancy. Nancy was going to marry Richard but after she had heard what Richard had done she breaks of the engagement with him.
This book held my interest because it was so interesting to read about a girl like Terri. She was so creative and sweet, even after what her father did. I choose this book because books about kidnappings interest me very much. Also, I wanted a book about a girl who had to face a real life problem, and this is just the one.
I would recommend this book because it is interesting. The second you start reading it you will never be able to stop. I could not put this book down until the very end. It is suspenseful because you always wonder what will happen next. For example, when Terri goes to visit her mom, they have a horrible fight. Terri runs away and you donít know what Terri will do, and you just canít stop reading when the chapter ends.
I think that the book Taking Terri Mueller was exceptionally good and I think that everyone should read about the great and brave adventures Terri took.

A great book I read this year was Taking Terri Mueller. This book was written by Norma Fox Mazer.
Taking Terri Mueller is about a girl named Terri who was kidnapped by her own father! Mr. Mueller, Terriís father, was mad that his X-wife, Kathren, because she was moving to Europe and taking his daughter with her. He was so mad, that on his weekly visiting day, when he got to see Terri, he took her in his car and drove far away, never to come back.
The main conflict in this book is Terri trying to find her mother Kathren. Terri calls every operator in California to find out if Kathren M is listed. You can feel the determination that Terri has in finding her mother by the way the author describes Terri calling operators after school. When Terri finds her mother, she is determined to visit her in California.
If you want to read a good book, I recommend Taking Terri Mueller. It is a very good book and will hold you interest. It was a little difficult for me to read, but it was excellent.

This year I read a very good book called Taking Terri Mueller. This book is about a 13 year old girl named Terri. She lived with her father. Her father told her that her mother had died in a car crash when she was four.
Later on in the book, Terri broke into her fatherës secret box. She found a divorce paper that says that her father and mother got a divorce when she was five. She asks her father about her mother, but her father ignores her and changes the subject. So she calls a lot of operators and finely reaches the right one. The operator said that her mother lived in California and gave Terri the number.
Taking Terri Mueller was a very good book. It told a story that happens to a lot of kids in everyday life. It teaches people not to lie. If they do lie then something usually goes wrong or something bad happens. In this book, I could see the scenes happening in my mind. I think that everyone should have a chance to read this book. It is very good.
