The book I read that I thought was great is Secret of the Caves. It was written by a less known author, Franklin W. Dixon. I thought that the book was very exciting for a mystery book. It was about Joe and Frank Hardy, the best and youngest detectives in California. They had three mysteries to solve and they were the hardest oneís to solve so far in their career.
The first mystery was actually their dadís mystery but he already was working hard on one. It was a cop who disappeared one day. Not even his wife didnít knew where he was. She said when she got up he wasnít on the other side of the bed and the window was open about a few inches. The boys second case was a teenage girlís brother was missing from his college and the closest suspects were group, Delta Sigma and the missing boys roommate. The third case was at the Honeycomb caves. That's one of the mining caves in California. The state closed it of because people were disappearing and one of the missing people were Joe and Frankís friend, Biff.
The reason I loved this book is because it made you want to read more and more. It left me hanging every chapter and then you would have to read the next chapter to find out what happens. Also, I liked it because of itís action and itís mystery. It held my interest.
I hope you read this book. I would recommend it to people who absolutely love mysteries or just like to read! I enjoyed it a ton!!!
