A good novel that I read was Remember Me by Cheryl Lanham.
I think this book is the best book that I have ever read. It is about a girl named Leanne who got caught shoplifting a pair of earrings. Leanne tried to explain to the police that it was just a joke, and she didnít mean to hurt anybody. She also told them that she was going to give the earrings back. The police did not believe her, and they made her do 200 hours of community service at a hospice. Her license was also taken away.
Everyday, before she went to the hospice, she went to a little diner for a glass of soda. When she went to the diner, she met a boy. His name was Ricky Peach. Leanne started seeing Ricky a lot. Despite that Leanne was grounded, she still managed to go out with Ricky.
Her favorite patient at the hospice was Gabriel Mendoza. He was a very young boy. Leanne and Gabriel did not get along too well, but they managed to see each other every time she went to the hospice. Leanne promised Gabriel that she would be by his side when he died. Leanne kept her promise, but her life was never the same because Gabriel died.
I would recommend this book to my friends because itís a very good book and it teaches you about your life. If you are looking for a good book to read, I strongly suggest Remember Me by Cheryl .
