I read a book this year named Goodbye Doesnít Mean Forever. It is a very heart warming book. Iím here to tell you all about it.

It is about a girl named Melissa, who has cancer and she is dyeing. She is accepting it but is afraid of the process. Her family is with her through it all, though they are very afraid too. Her friend is named Jory. Jory can not accept that her friend is dying. Jory has to cope with her friend dying with her friends and family. It is a very heart filled book.

This book held my interest because it was a book that I couldnít put down. What I mean by this is that something would happen and I wouldnít be able to put it down. This book kept me on the edge because I kept wondering if Melissa would be okay. At times you just wanted to start crying, but at other times you wanted to start laughing. I have read a lot of Lurlene McDaniel books, but this wins the gold medal. This book had a lot of different things going at the same time. What I mean by this is that their was Melissa and her family and there was also Jory and her mom.

I learned things to from this book. I learned that friends are very important to have. Jory and Melissa were incredible. They knew everything about each other. I surely hope that you choose to read this book. You will not regret it.
