This book is a Hardy Boy case number 34. This book like all the others is a up tempo fast-paced murder mystery. I find all of the books in the series very well written. This particular one takes place in Bayport the hometown of the Hardyís. A special TV series is coming to town to make new episode, and the writer of the episode Mr. Fairburn gets killed. Frank and Joe are sent behind the scenes as hired muscle to help there father Fenton Hardy a famous detective crack the case. Fenton Hardy is representing the star of the episode Jim Adisson prove that he wasnít the one who killed Mr. Fairburn.

I would definitely recommend this book and any of the Hardy Boy or Nancy Drew series books. I found that they were all very up tempo murder mysteries and lots of action. I would have to rate this book a 9.5 because it was really good but it wasnít long enough for me. I think that Franklin W. Dixon is the one best authors, I know about. Also how Mr. Dixon builds the relationship between Frank and Joe was rather interesting. They go well together. One is the brains, and the other is braun. I think that Joe and Frank make the best Dynamic Duo ever during detective history. This has to be one the best books I ever read.
