The Bacta War, is the last book in a series of four. It is a Star Wars novel and is the best series I have ever read. It is about a group of the Star Wars galaxiesí best pilots and is commanded by Wedge Antilles (the pilot that helped the Falcon blow up the second Death Star). The first three novels are Rogue Squadron, Wedgeís Gamble, and The Krytoís Trap.

This a huge war against Ysanne Isard, an evil War Lord in the Empire. In this book is the final battle. Rogue Squadron is not part of the Alliance any more, but they are not part of the Empire. They are known for doing the impossible, and this battle seems impossible for them to win. They have to go against three Star Destroyers and one Super Star Destroyer. With only 12 X-wings that is impossible. You will soon find out that this isnít very impossible when you get help from an Alderaanian War Cruiser, an Imperial Star Destroyer that has changed sides, a fleet of freighters, a squadron of A-wings, a squadron of Uglies, and a squadron of X-wings and it isnít very impossible especially when you have a plan.

The battle begins when the whole fleet that has joined the Rogueís fleeís their home port when they hear that a SSD(Super Star Destroyer) and a SD(Star Destroyer)is coming, but they have a plan. The fleet leaves and the SSD and SD come. Iím not going to tell what happens because it is very exciting and shouldnít be seen until you read it.

This is a great book and a great series all together. I would recommend this series very highly. You start out by reading the first book Rogue Squadron and read from there. This is one of many Star Warsí books. These books are great if you like a book that has a slow beginning, but gets more fast-paced, edge of your seat, excitement at the end of each book. These books are all about a squadron of X-wings and its pilots what they have to go through. This is a great book, and I highly recommend it.
