April Morning is a great book that takes place during the Revolutionary War. The book is through the eyes of a fifteen year old boy named Adam.

When a messenger came to their village, he brought news of Redcoats coming in their direction. Adam has to decide to fight in the war or not. He finally decides to fight. The whole book revolves around the few days the Adam was in the war and all that he goes through. During the book, Adam has to learn to be a man because his dad dies during a battle between the town and the redcoats. He also has to find a way to survive in a town full of Redcoats while he is one of the last of the Patriots in the town. He has to hide among the few places in the town.

Adam, during an escape from the town, finds some people to help him that have fled from the Redcoats and survived. Some of them he knows, some of them he doesnít. But whoever they are, they will have to fight to get the Redcoats out of the town where their beloved families are.

This book I would recommend to anyone who likes realistic books and people who like adventure books. So, read April Morning soon.
