A Long Fatal Love Chase was an excellent book! It was full of excitement, and held you in suspense throughout every breath-taking page. It was not the kind of book that you would think Louisa May Alcott would write! The suspense was so thrilling, and it was so fun to read!

This book was about a woman, named Rosamond, who marries a man, named Philip, but then realizes that he is not the kind of charming man that she thought he was. When Rosamond saw that Philip was not the man that she thought he was, she just wanted to leave him. Rosamond fled from Philip, and tried to escape, but realized that she couldnít. Philip was obsessed with Rosamond! He stalked her, and wouldnít let her get away from him. He really did love her, but it was unfair to Rosamond to chase her like that! It didnít do any good in getting Rosamond back. The more he stalked her, the colder Rosamondís heart got, and the more she drew away from evil Philip. If anything, Philip made everything worse! He wouldnít let Rosamond marry anyone else, and made her life a living nightmare! Eventually this obsessive stalking led to the death of Rosamond. Philip had gone to far, and in his stubbornness, a death occurred.

The characters in this book were very good too. They were well developed, and each had a great personality. For example, Rosamond was a very great character. She had a great character, and her personality really drew you in. Rosamond was a strong character, and she never gave in to Philipís charm. She knew how bad he really was, and didnít let Philip trick her into believing that he was something that he really was not. She was a great character. Another well developed character was Ignatius. Ignatius was also a strong character. He loved Rosamond, but he knew that he could not marry her, because he was a priest. He also knew that it could endanger Rosamondís life. Ignatius and Rosamond are very good characters in this book. You really felt "drawn in" by the authorís characters.

This book was very good. I loved reading it, and recommend it to any other person looking for a good book to read. It was excellent.
