There were many things about this book that enjoyed. It was very interesting
, exiting, and even though the story was based on talking rabbits, to
me it seemed very realistic.
Watership Down was about a group of rabbits that left their home because
one of them sensed a danger was coming. He was right, soon after they
left, their home was gassed to prepare for construction. So after some
persuasion, he got a group of rabbits to go with him in search of a better
home. Throughout the book the same rabbit, Fiver, keeps having bad feelings
about certain places that they encounter throughout their journey. These
feelings save their lives in more than one place.
I would defenitely recommend this book, although it may be challenging
for some people. People that especially like reading about animals, adventure,
or even realistic fiction will enjoy this book. I would rate this book
a perfect ten, and I'm sure that you would too if you read it!
