Shadows In The Water

My most favorite book that I have read this year is Shadows In The Water, by: Kathryn Lasky. This book is about a family of four kids, that are telepathic (They can communicate together in there minds without saying anything.) and there parents. I feel this book is great because the author lets you experience something that normal people don't experience.

The kids feel there family is sooo boring and want to acomplish something in life. Before they know it their father gets a new job dealing with illegal dumping of chemicals in the ocean in the Florida Keys. The kids are so excited not only because they're moving but they are getting Zanny, their old tutor from when they visited London to come and teach them so they don't have to go a military school, which was their moving gift from their aunt.

When the family arrives in Florida and is in a boat heading towards their house-boat they happen to pass some dolphins and the telepathic kids here clicks in there minds. The kids soon find out that because they are telepathic they can communicate with the dolphins.
