This was a good fantasy. It was really great to read and I enjoyed learning
about the woman, Indigo, and her companion, Grimya.
This story was about Indigo. She was a princess, but foolishly, she let
escape from a crumbling old tower, seven evils which destroyed her family.
She was granted immortality for the time being, until she destroyed the
seven evils . Then she would be able to age. With her was the mystical wolf,
Grimya, who was also immortal. The princess had then tossed aside her inheritance,
changing her royal name to Indigo, and began her journey to seek out the
evils.
Indigo met up with a family of traveling performers, and decided to stay
with them until she found the third evil, but she didn't realize that they
were headed right toward the third evil, in the little town they would next
perform in.
When a mysterious plague spreads through the town, and a black forest grows
up beyond the village borders, Indigo and two of the performers venture
into the forest to stop the third evil, save Grimya, who is lost in the
forest, and help Charity, a performer, before the plague kills her.
I liked this book. It was very original, and I got caught up in events that
were happening. It was MUCH different from real life, and I couldn't believe
how anyone could create such a world. I would encourage anyone who is interested
in fantasy to read this book, or maybe another one of the books in its series.
