One of my favorite books is Mary Reilly. It is about a maid named Mary Reilly who works for Dr. Jekyll (who she calls Master). She tells her story by writing in her journal. I thought this book was very suspenseful and interesting. I liked how the author had Mary tell the story from her point of view, instead of Dr. Jekylls point of view. She was very descriptive, like when she explained how weird Master was acting and how he wouldn't come out of his laboratory for days.
You never knew what was going to happen next, which made it very suspenseful and made you want to know what would happen next. When I got near the end, I was dying to know the ending. If you like suspenseful books, you'll like Mary Reilly.
