My favorite book is The Lost World. I enjoyed it for several reasons.
First, I found the technology very interesting. On every page there was
something about genetics or computers. I really liked the dionsaurs and
how the author told about how they were brought back from extinction.
Secondly, I loved the relenting chase scenes. The characters were always
running away from dinosaurs or some other park disaster. In the chase scenes,
the characters always either escaped by a hair or they were brutally mutilated
trying.
Lastly, the story was fantastic. I liked the whole idea of the story: going
on the island to find prof of the dinosaurs still existing, then getting
chased around the island, and finally escaping with half of their original
party. Without the great story, The Lost World would be a terribly boring
read.
