I read the book A little Princess. I definitely would recommend this book. This was a sad but exciting book's sad things were mostly about Becky. Becky was a poor 14 year old girl The school she lived at made her do all this work and she had to sleep in the attic with the mice and she barely got anything to eat. Meanwhile a girl named Sara Crewe. She is a very rich girl. She was treated greatly because of her wealth. Then when her father died the school treated her badly because she didn't have any money left. They treated her just like Becky. I think that this is very sad that just because someone is poor they are treated badly .

This book I could ever put down. Even though this is not a mystery I always wanted to find out what was going to happen to Becky. I think this book should be read by everyone. So if you are looking for a good classic then read A Little Princess by Francis Burnett.
