The Last Vampire Series were the best books I've ever read. They are really not a series, just a book with five sequels. The author of the books is Christopher Pike, once you have read the first one you're already addicted!
The book is about a five-thousand year old vampire, who still looks like she could be twenty. The meaning of the word "vampire" is a little different than you would expect. Her name is Alisa and since she has become a vampire she has acquired amazing new abilities. She can jump so high that to a mortle's eyes it might look as though she can fly. Her creator Yaksha, who is born from a Yakshini (a devil) is after her, he wants to kill her so he can forfill his promise to Krishna (their god) and live in peace when he dies.
This book is extremly action packed and has many funny parts too! Alisa has a thing for bombs when she thinks her real identity might be leaked. Although Alisa's real name is Sita, she does not use it too often. But, here's a big no,no, do not read the books out of order or don't even bother to read them because you will just totally ruin all the books for your-self. You maybe be able to find these books at a local library but your best bet is a local book store!
I gurantee you'll love these books if you love suspense, action and many mysteries!
