Jumanji, by George Spelvin, is a great book right from the movie. If you have watched the movie, then you shouldn't read the book, because it's copied exactly from the movie.
It is about the fearful adventures Alan Parrish has each time he rolls the dice of a game he finds called jumanji. He is accompanied by Sarah Whittle, his friend, and Judy and Peter, kids who find the game many years later. Will they finish the game to stop the horrors that come out of it, or will they die trying? Just read Jumanji ( or watch the movie ) to find out.
