A good book that I've read is Julie by Catherine Marshall. It is about a young woman named Julie who lives in a flood prone village during the depression. I don't want to give away the book but I think that I can safely say that it is about a horrible flood and the impression it left on the lives of Julie and the others of the town.
I think that this book is exciting because it is based on real events from Catherine Marshall's life. It tells the story of Julie as she and her family struggle to make ends meet with the profits from her father's business. A newspaper called the Sentinel. It tells of the problems her father has trying to keep the newspaper in print.
This story is really exciting. If you like action, this book is for you. If you like romance, this book is for you. If you like mystery, this book is for you. If you like excitement, this book is for you. If you like any of these topics you should read Julie by Catherine Marshall.
