This year I read a lot of books, but nothing compares to The Golden Unicorn.
A mystery full of suspense and tons of accidents that people don't always
survive. The characters and plot are just terrific and the author is very
detailed. She gives the materials and clues and you figure out the rest.
The Golden Unicorn is about a young woman who is trying to learn who she
really is. You see the family that was hers for years, a mother and father,
both died leaving her with the knowledge that she is adopted. All she has
left from her real family, is the knowledge of where she was born and a
golden unicorn hanging on a gold chain around her neck. She decides to
do an article for a magazine on one of the ladies in the town where she
was born. Before she knows what's happening she is caught up in a woral
wind of mystery and thrill. She learns more and more about her family as
the days go by, and soon she is face to face with the murder of her real
mother, not knowing weathers she will survive.
