I really enjoyed The Elfstones of Shannara by Terry Brooks. It is about the grandson of one of the characters in The Sword of Shannara. He has elven blood in his veins, and so, once again a member of the Ohmsford family is called to save the land. He must protect an elven princess on her quest to create a new tree to protect the land. He must face demons and other beasts to help save the land. This is another wonderful fantasy by Terry Brooks that I highly recommend.
