This was the best book I read this year because it was full of action and
had some infermation that was new to me. The book talked about the way
people acted and about the future of the whole world. The book was based
on a man and his jurney. In the beginning of the book Mike (the main character)
got a phone call from an old friend of his that he hadn't seen in a few
years. She told him of the Manuscript. There is eight insights that make
up the Manuscript. She only of the first insight because that is all she
knew. She told him of a prist that was supposed to meet her at his house
but when she got there no one was there. He was going to tell her about
the whole Manuscript. When Mike's friend left on her air plane Mike went
back to his house and called a travel agent to see when the next flight
to Peru was. The travel agent told him that there was one right that same
day in about three hours. Mike packed his stuff and left.
He made a friend on the plane there and they planned to meet at his hotel.
When Mike was in a cab he noticed that some one was following him. He
told the cab driver to go to his friends hotel. When they pulled up and
Mike got out He saw his friend running away from some one. His friend told
him to follow him. Gun shots rang out and Mike turned in to a alley. A
man that saw him running came down to help him. The man told him to follow
him If he wanted to live.
From then on the book unfolds in to an all out search for the controversial
ninth insight. Listen in as he weaves his way through the forests of Peru.
The book brings up many new ideas. It brings up ideas that haven't even
been touched upon in this time. Sure people might of thought of this but
there hasn't been a big discussion about it. This book talks of what some
people think will be good for the world. It talks of a change that will
take place some time near in the future. In the news you might hear of
people protesting against war , and that we should stop fighting or we will
bring up our own extinction. That is the kind of change that the book talks
about , but its not as direct as that.
This is the best book I've ever read. It is different form other books
that I've read. Most books ether talk about the future or the present not
both. If you need a good book to read this is the book to get.
