This book is about a girl named Francesca. She thinks that sh's fat, and wants to be thin like ballerinas and models. She changes her name to Kessa, because she thinls it woll make her strong and beautiful.
She starts to eat less and less food at meals. Then she looks in a mirror and says, "Thin, but not thin enough." Her parents get worried, and send her to the doctor. The doctor says she has anorexia nervosa, which is a disease that makes you starve yourself to death because you think you look overweight.
This book was great. It really teaches you about anorexia without saying, "These are the characteristics of this sickness...." This book is a must-read. If you like it, check out the sequel, Kessa.
