Belgarath The Sorcerer

 I really liked this book because it was action packed and interesting. In this book Belgarath, the god Aldur's first deciple has to battle demons, gods, and sorcerers using his power of sorcery called the will and the word and his magic. This book is his biography. He starts out as an orphan who has to steal food to stay alive. Soon he finds a camp of people to stay with but he finds it so boring that one day he runs away. He finds a strange tower and inside he meets the god Aldur who feeds him and begins to train him in the art of sorcery. Time passes and soon other deciples come and begin their training, yet all the while Aldur is working on his prized possession, his orb. Years pass and Belgarath finds that he is barely aging. Aldur tells him that the sorcery will keep him alive for a long time. Later, Aldur's brother the evil god Torak steals Aldur's orb. Belgarath sets out on a quest to regain his masters orb and get revenge. To find out what happens you will have to read this book.
