All On Quiet On The Western Front

My favorite book is All Quiet On The Western Front, one because I have not
read World War I or II books from the view of the German side. I
have found that it was also not hard to be sympathetic for the young soldiers
that are eighteen or nineteen years old because there not like Hitler some
of them didn't know what the reason was they were fighting for. This showed
how six boys that are friends survived thru the war all except for one his
name was Kemmerich some others were Tjaden, Detering, also there annoying
training officer Colonel Himmelstoss who they made fun of because he was
always mean to them. So then because he thought so high of himself even
though he was helpless they played tricks on him all the time it was sort
of payback for all the things he'd done to them.So this book is good because
there not a lot of books like this written from the German point of view
so I would definitly recommend this and there is also a TV version movie
which is good.
