After The Bomb

This is an excellent action book by Cloriad Miklowttz. This book is about three kids that were playing in a bomb shelter without knowing a bomb was coming. The bomb was coming from a plane. The kids are in Chicago. The Japanese were trying to start a war with the United States by dropping a bomb on a city.

The bomb hit and blew up everything and everybody except the three kids. They survived because they were in the bomb shelter by accident, playing. When they got out they saw what happened .They went in their house and saw their mom on the floor. So then they had to bring their mom to the hospital.
This is my favoite book, and if you like action and suspense it can become your favorite.
