A great classic book I read was called To Kill a Mockingbird. It was about a little girl named Scout, her little brother Jem, and their father Atticus. They live in a little southern town called Maycomb. In the story, the children learn about racial issues when their father is chosen to defend a Black man in a rape trial. What happens after the trial is very sad. The father is insulted every time he walks down the street. In the end, the children are saved from being attacked by someone they would never expect. Another action scene is where the kids under a dare. They go to the house next door, the home of supposedly a monster. They run up to the back door and see a scary looking shadow and run away. As kids, they are vary scared and hide behind the closest tree. For the next couple of days, they talk about it, until they finally meet the next door neighbor.

I chose this book as my favorite book because it is vary interesting.
The author does a great job explaining each part of the book. In one part the author did such a great job of explaining the look on a persons face I felt like I was looking right at him. Another thing I liked a lot in the book was the way the book was written for anyone to read not just a little kid.

I would definitely recommend this book to any one who loves a good novel. It has a great story line and plenty of action. If you want to read a good book that will keep you reading then this book is for you.

I just completed reading the book To Kill A Mocking Bird. This book was about three youngsters. Their names were Jem, Scout, and Dill. The book takes place during the 1920's in a small suburb. The primary characters believe that an maniacal man dwells on their avenue. When reading the book, the germain characters make him out to be an outlaw. The man's name is Boo Radly. The main characters hear their neighbor Mrs. Rachel gossips about all the unprincipled things he does and how his father has him manacled to the bed. The kids decide to interrogate the neighbors to see what they know. From this book, I learn that you have to meet a person before you can approximate their characteristic's. I exceedingly endorse that you read this book.
