The classic Anne of Green Gables is a very interesting and fascinating book
written by L.M. Montgomery.
Anne of Green Gables was a great book! It was about an orphan girl who was
adopted over the phone. An old couple from Avonlea needed a young boy the
age of 12 to help on the grounds of Green Gables, but they ended up getting
a girl by mistake. When Matthew, the husband, went to get the child, he was
amazed by what he saw. He was taking home a 12 year old girl named Anne
Shirley. When the wife, Marilla came to see that a girl came, she had a
fit. She told Anne that she would go back to the orphan agency, Anne was
heart broken. She loved Avonlea. And since she never had a real home she
wanted to start a new life at Green Gables. Since Marilla never was a mother
she didn't understand Anne's hurt. When Marilla went to call the orphan
agency she realized that it would do a great deal of heart ache on Anne.
So, she decided to keep her.
Even though Marilla kept Anne, she was very strict. Only Matthew was nice
to her. Anne would talk for hours, and when Marilla couldn't take any more,
she would stop Anne in the middle of a sentence. That would tell Anne not
to talk of such nonsense.
If you want to read a great book, read Anne of Green Gables. If you enjoy
this book, maybe you should read the series of Anne's adventures.

The classic I read is Anne of Green Gables written by L.M. Montgomery. This
book is about an orphan girl named Anne who comes to live with an elderly
family ( who are brother and sister). The siblings, Marilla Cuthbert and
Matthew Cuthbert, are very much different from each other. They wanted to
adopt a boy to help with the chores. But there was a mix-up and they ended
up with Anne. At first Marilla was against keeping Anne, but after a lot
of convincing done by Matthew, she finally agreed to let Anne stay.
Anne is a spunky 11 year old girl who is not very good with her manners.
Her mission is to learn to adapt to the properly ways of Marilla's life.
Marilla is always nagging on Anne to learn her manners and to start acting
like a lady. Anne tries and tries to be more proper and ladylike, except
whenever she does something she always screws it up. Oh yeah, that's another
thing, Anne is a klutz. She is very clumsy when it comes to doing chores,
such as baking.
Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert are two elderly people who live at Green Gables.
Marilla is a strict person. Everything has to be done prim and proper. Manners
are very important in her life. That changes when Anne comes to live with
her. Marilla adopts this very spunky upbeat girl who doesn 't have very
good manners. Marilla is forced to change her lifestyle to adapt to Anne's
living. On the other hand, Anne is forced to change her lifestyle to adapt
to Marilla's living.
If you want to read an exciting, fun novel, Try Anne of Green Gables. I
guarantee you won't regret reading it. I rate it a 100!

I read a great classic this year which was called Anne of Green Gables.
This book was written by L.M. Montgomery.
Anne of Green Gables was a tender loving friendship story about an orphan
girl who needs love. It all started with old women who was adopting a boy,
what turns out is that instead she gets Anne. The old women is very sad
about this and was almost ready to take Anne back. Anne was adopted by the
Cuthberts, who through time learned to love Anne.
One of the best parts in the book was when Anne hated her hair. So from
a merchant off the street who said when she uses it her hair will be dyed
black. Anne must of had to be desperate because when she used the dye her
hair turned green!
If you read this book, you will see how anything can happen from hate to
friendship, then love. Anne and the Cuthberts learned to get along through
the toughest times and through it all they still had love and though the
days passed with fighting and hatred, they learned, to have everything in
a real family.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves classics and loves to read books
about friendships and love.

A very funny classic that I read this year is Anne of Green Gables.
This book is written by L.M. Montgomery.
Anne of Green Gables is a very funny book about
an orphan who was taken in my many different people. Anne finally got to
a brother and sister named Marilla and Matthew Cuthburt. They were suppose
to get a boy, but they got Anne, instead. Anne is a girl about the age of
ten when they get her. She has a problem with talking too much. She says
what she feels, and it doesn't matter to her who the person is she is talking
to. Such as the time when Anne made fun of Mrs. Rachel Lynde. Anne only
did this because Rachel made fun of Anne's red hair and her freckles. Anne
made fun of Rachel's snotty attitude and they way her hair was so black.
Anne gets in trouble through out the whole book because her mouth. She also
gets in trouble because she is always day dreaming. She thinks about some
of the strangest things.
There are many characters in this book. I will just tell you about a few
of them. Anne (the main character ) is a girl about the age of ten when
she is adopted, again. She has a problem with talking and always gets in
trouble for it. Marilla is another important character in the book. She
is the one who helps Anne turn into a young woman, who knows when to open
her mouth. Matthew is also a very important character. He gets Anne most
of the things she wants. Such as puffy sleeves. These are just three of
the characters in the book.
This book was also very good because it had a lot of detail and humor. The
detail came in because all of the trouble Anne got into was very well thought
out. All the little questions you might want to ask are answered for you.
There was a lot of humor in this book. Every time you read about a part
of the book where Anne gets in trouble you will laugh out loud.
If you want a classic that is funny, but very good, this is the one.

Anne of Green Gables was an excellent classic. It was about a little girl,
Anne, who was adopted by Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert. Marilla wanted to
adopt a boy, but the orphanage made a mistake and sent a girl instead of
a boy. They ended up keeping Anne. As Anne grew up she got into mischief,
and drove Marilla crazy when she daydreamed off. Anne had a very good imagination
and that is what made this book exciting. It was also funny because Anne
would be in the middle of something, daze off, and mess up what every she
was doing
Anne was very close to Matthew. He understood Anne and loved to talk with
her. Marilla wasn't as close to Anne at first, but after a tragic lose,
they became much closer. Marilla began to understand he more. Especially
when Anne got older.
During Anne's childhood, she met a girl named Diana. They were best friends.
Even when they grew up they were the best of friends.
If you want a happy classic that touches your heart this is the one.

A classic I read was Anne Of Green Gables, which was very good reading.
This was one of my personal favorites. It was exciting and fun to read.
The characters in this book were spirited and wild but trying to be proper.
Anne was the main character and a lot happened through her life. First her
parents died. Then she went from orphanage to orphanage. Marilla and Mathew
wanted to adopt a boy to help out with the chores. There was a mistake somehow,
and they received a girl, Anne. They took her home and first decided to
send her back to the orphanage. After a while, they got to know her so then
they decided to keep her on trial for a little while, and then decide whether
she would stay at Green Gables. She was extremely happy when Marilla and
Mathew said she could stay. This book was about her sorrows and adventures.
Anne was always very friendly, and made friends easily. This book was mostly
about her growing up at Green Gables which was her home.
I recommend this book because of all the great adventures Anne has. I recommend
this book to girls mostly but I'm sure boys would also enjoy it too. So
go get this book to read,I can almost guarantee you will like it. This was
one of my favorite books that I read this year.
