A classic book that I really enjoyed this year was Jane Eyre. It was romantic, tragic, adventurous
mysterious all at the same time. It kept my interest through the whole plot.
Jane Eyre was an orphan who was abused by her aunt. Her aunt thought her
to be sickly, frail, ugly, and ill-mannered. She was sent to boarding school, and
then to an estate to work as a governess to a French girl named Adele. There,
she falls in love with Adele's guardian, Mr. Rochester. Mr. Rochester was
rich, and intelligent, but not very handsome. He proposes, and then they
were about to marry, until Jane discovered the horrible secret Mr. Rochester
has kept locked in his attic for years, guarded by the strange lady living
in the house named Grace Poole. Then, Jane fleds from the estate and finds
herself nearly starving to death. Luckily, a home nearby takes her in.
She quickly becomes friends with the people living there. But, before her
happiness succeeds, Mr. Rochester pays a visit.........
I recommend this book for readers of all ages who are up for an enjoyable
challenge. This book proves to be a truly interesting book. I enjoyed it,
and I hope you will too.

I truly loved the classic Jane Eyre, and this wonderful book is now ranked
as one of my favorites.
I guess what really made me love the book was Jane's character. Jane is
the sweetest, kindest person ever. The story of her life is amazing. She
also made me as the reader feel included in her story. Whenever she described
her feelings, she would start the sentence like this: "Now reader,
at this time I was feeling......" etc. She really made it seem like
she was telling me personally!
The strong romance between Jane and Mr. Rochester thrilled me and other
readers. Their love was continual, but at times it wasn't that strong. The
book kept me in suspense to the end as to whether or not they would end
the book together!
The occupants of Thorne-field Hall (Mr. Rochester's house) hold the mystery
of the book, and anyone who loves a good mystery will be intrigued by Rochester's
crazy ex-wife and her nurse Grace Poole!
I would definately recommend this book to other students. However, not everyone
would enjoy this book. People who love to curl up with a good book would
enjoy it. People who are patient would enjoy it.( The pages are long and
the print is small.) People who like a book for it's characters, romance
and history would enjoy it. I felt all of these things, and therefore loved
the novel. It has a little of everything: -romance,-mystery,-content,-history,-suspense,
and great characters. This book is really a wonderful book for people my
age to read. Jane Eyre is a true classic!
