I read the book Davy Crockett this year. I would recommend this book to anyone. This is a very good book about what it was like in pioneer dogs when people ere coming in and clearing the land in new states. If you like classics and adventure this is a book you should read. This particular version is a bit watered down, so I would recommend the original, but the story is good. This book is about one man who came into these new states and cleared the land, his name was Davy Crockett. He was also a hooter, he was known as the greatest bear hunter there ever was. He also fought in two wars.

I would definitely recommend this book to any one.
