The book Beowulf is an excellent book. Although it is a little hard to
understand, it is a fun book, if you like folklore. It is about a hero
called Beowulf, who comes to a small village, that gets attacked by a creature
called Grendle every night. Grendle is a giant beast that cannot be harmed
by any weapon. So, the great Beowulf is asked to come and fight the beast.
And, he does. One night Beowulf lies down and pretends he is sleeping,
but when Grendle comes he doesn't do anything. When Grendle grabs his arm
to eat him he goes into action, fighting with all his might. Grendle too
is struggling to get Beowulf off him, but Beowulf is stronger. During
the fight almost everything in the room is destroyed. But finally there
is a victor. Through many efforts, Beowulf manages to rip the arm off of
Grendle, and the village is safe. But the fight isn't over. When Beowulf
finds the cave of Grendle and his mother the real fight begins,
and to find out the ending, out will have to read the book.
