Niskayuna High School Counseling Center

 welcomes the Class of 2015!

 

 

There are two counselors in the Counseling Center devoted to just freshmen: 

 

Mr. Swisher (last names beginning with A-Man)

Mrs. Carroll (last names beginning with Mar-Z). 

 

As sophomores, students are re-assigned to a counselor who will be with them through graduation.  We started this structure several years ago as a way to provide more support to ninth graders as they transitioned to the high school.  The counselors assigned in 10th grade will be the one who helps with 10th grade career exploration plus 11th grade college search and 12th grade college selection process.
