- The Classical Association of New York State has named the Niskayuna Latin
program the Outstanding Latin Program of New York State. According to
the selection committee for this prestigious award, the judges were most impressed
by the high enrollments and quality course offerings available to Latin students at
Niskayuna. This year, over 250 students will take Latin at Niskayuna High School.
Congratulations to our wonderful Latin teachers, Ms. Miller and Mr. Caffrey, on
this deserved honor.
- This school year a group of Niskayuna Latin students will travel
to Italy. The group of fourteen students and two teachers will visit the ancient
ruins of Rome and Pompeii during their visit.
- Exchange trips are planned this year to Mexico and Italy. A group of German students is scheduled
