The eTec training room is dedicated to the exploration of educational technology capabilities and skills by the Niskayuna faculty & staff. It's full of awesome devices and lots of wires!

Resources include wireless Internet access, a Promethean interactive whiteboard, a ceiling-mounted LCD projector, digital cameras & camcorders, document cameras, a scanner, interactive wireless tablets, and much more!

 

With most Niskayuna teachers assigned a laptop computer, the central portion of the room is configured with conference tables for their use. Desktop computers are also available with a wide variety of software and capabilities, such as video DVD burning.
