BIRCHWOOD BLOWOUT

USED BOOK SALE

MAY

This event is no longer being held at Birchwood. Instead, it is part of the district wide Niska Day (see the school calendar for May) activities as a fund raiser for the Niskayuna Teacher's Association Scholarship fund. Donations for this event are accepted as listed below.

What is it?

1. An opportunity to empty your book shelves by donating books your family has "outgrown" so that others can read and appreciate them.

2. A very thrifty way to stock up on new titles for everyone in your family to enjoy.

How can I participate?

1. Start collecting books you and your family no longer wish to keep. The books may be hard cover or paperback and must be in good condition. Preschool through adult levels will be accepted.

2. Watch for an announcement in early May telling when to bring the donations to the main entry hall of Birchwood School. Place them in a bag or box labeled "Book Sale".

3. Whether or not you donate books, be sure to bring everyone in your family to the Birchwood Blowout to buy new titles at bargain prices. Look for the book sale tables in the front hallway.
