The Birchwood Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) was formed with the following goals:

• To bring caregivers, educators, students and the community together in order to secure the best educational environment for every child
• To promote the welfare of children at home, in school and in the community
• To enhance the capacity of parents, educators and caregivers to guide, support and nuture their children.

The goals of the PTO shall be implemented through the development of educational and social programs and services for the Birchwood community, supported through fundraising activities.

Membership is open to any person who is interested in promoting the goals of the organization. The cost is $5.00 per family. Memberships are available on Curriculum Nights and through the PTO.
