Curriculum - Every student from kindergarten through fifth grade uses the Birchwood Computer Lab. Grades K-2 have 30 minutes of hands-on computer instruction each week. Grades 3-5 have more flexible scheduling - generally resulting in 45-60 minutes each week. Computer Lab activities are intended to complement classroom instruction and curriculum. In addtion, students are introduced to proper keyboarding techniques, internet etiquette, research skills and a variety of applications.
Individual students may use the lab when space is available and
with permission.
