Important - School Budget News
As the Board of Education begins the budget process, they will be holding a number of budget forums for community input. Please find the schedule below along with the topics for each forum. These forums will be held just prior to the regular Board of Education meetings. Further information has been posted on the district website. We encourage you to visit often for updated information. Birchwood's Fifth Grade classes recently culminated a six week long unit of study. Parents, teachers and students were treated to the States Fair celebration. Learning projects, feature articles, artifact boxes, singing, dancing, and state foods were some of the highlights of the day. |

On January 23, Fiddler George Wilson from Homespun Fiddlers sat in with the Birchwood Fiddle Club to teach them how to add new techniques to spice up their fiddle tunes! A great time was had by all, ending with refreshments and conversation with the players, George, and Fiddle parents. |
